Giant Camel Exhibit
Our geology and paleontology exhibits rotate. We currently have a Natural Born Killers display about Mesozoic predators and our giant camel, Megatylopus, on display.

We are building our next display about local fossills and it is scheduled to open in late March 2023.

Paleontology Prep Lab
Did you know that ULGM had a fully functioning vertebrate paleontology lab? We are able to process large fossils specimens, as well as microscopic ones.
Come see what our UL students and community volunteers are working on!
Research
The ULGM serves as a national repository for fossils. Our "library of fossils" currently contains over 100,000 specimens. Here, the fossils are protected and available for research.

Where do the fossils come from? We have annual expeditions to different localities. Students are always welcome to attend.
